Account and saved places
Sign-in is provided through ChatGPT. The site receives an account identifier and, when provided by the sign-in service, an email address. Saved itinerary records are associated with your account identifier and are shown to your account. This site does not ask for your ChatGPT password.
Community content
Your chosen display name, post title, message, uploaded photo and replies are visible to people who can access the site. Post ownership, submission times and reports are stored to support editing, deletion and moderation. Do not upload sensitive personal information.
Storage and removal
Itinerary and community records are stored in the site database, and uploaded photos in file storage. You can remove saved places and delete your own posts using their controls. Deleting a post also removes its attached photo and replies from the active site. There is currently no self-service control for deleting an individual reply or all account records at once.
External services
Hosting and sign-in services process requests to deliver and protect the site. The currency tool requests reference rates from Frankfurter through the site server; the amount you enter is calculated in your browser and is not sent with the rate request. When connected, tourism search terms are sent through the server to Korea Tourism Organization’s TourAPI. Following map or booking links takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.
Cookies and advertising
The hosting and sign-in services may use cookies necessary for access and authentication. Koreary uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Until then, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. You can reject analytics or change your choice using “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of the page. Your choice is stored on this browser for up to 180 days; analytics cookies are also configured to expire after 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and removes this site’s Analytics cookies; it does not automatically delete data already received by Google.
Analytics data and choices
After consent, Google receives technical request information and analytics events to help us understand site usage. Our page-view events use the page path without its query string, a general page title, and a guide identifier when you read a travel guide. We do not intentionally send your account identifier, email address, saved itinerary or community message in these events. The analytics tag is not loaded on itinerary, sign-in or community pages. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in our tag configuration. Koreary currently serves no display ads.

Privacy and removal requests
To request removal of account-linked records or a reply, email the privacy contact above with the relevant page URL or content reference. We may ask you to confirm that the account or content belongs to you. Do not send passwords or identity documents. Account-linked records remain stored until removed through the available controls or handled through a removal request; there is currently no automatic expiry for these records. Removing active records does not necessarily remove copies already held in backups or by external services.
